The International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church (IDOP) is marked in Ireland on Sunday 3 November or any other Sunday in November. Churches all over the country devote time during their services on that day to pray for the Persecuted Church. The focus this year is on Nigeria where many Christians living in the Middle Belt region have been displaced due to ongoing attacks by militant Muslims and now live in camps.
